How do I register as an investor on Tyke?

It’s really simple, you can just click here to sign-up and complete our simple KYC process. Once you have been approved, you can invest in any available startup campaign displayed on the Deals page after reviewing the details about the same.

Who can invest on Tyke?

Any individual over the age of 18 years having a valid ID proof PAN and Aadhaar card can invest. Tyke also follows rigorous due diligence and risk mitigation processes before displaying community deals. However, investors must be aware that startup investing is risky with a potential of loss of capital and hence investors' discretion is advised.

Do these startups undergo due diligence?

Startups are displayed to the investors only after due diligence has been conducted by us and an independent screening committee specially formed for the purpose of conducting due diligence of the same.

Which ID Proof are needed to sign up with Tyke?

In case of Indian users, a valid PAN and Aadhaar card are needed for signing up. For international users, a valid Unique Identification Number is needed for signing up. We also need your bank account details for paying you interest, if applicable.

What is minimum investment amount?

To provide you with flexibility in choosing an investment amount, we aim to keep the minimum investment amount as low as possible. Tyke’s platform-wide minimum is INR 5000. However, these amounts are set by the startup and can vary.

What is a T-SAFE?

Tyke’s Simple Agreement for Future Equity are financial instruments issued in exchange for the chance to earn a return in the form of equity in the company.

Can I invest in more than one startup?

Yes, you can invest in any number of startups. Diversification is always an advisable investment strategy and by offering you the ability to make smaller investments we encourage you to invest in more than one startup.

What is the refund policy?

You can cancel an investment until 48 hours before the campaign deadline, and receive a refund, after which point your investment is final. In case you would like to seek a refund, please contact us at [email protected] and we shall assist you with the same. Usually, the amount will be refunded to you within 15 business days of your request.

If I invest in a startup and they fail to reach their funding goal, will I be refunded?
